#0939 A remarkable, rare Empire table clock "The Windmill" with automaton and half hour/hour strike
Case: bronze, firegilt, rectangular marble base, 4 bun feet, on the front gilt applied oak leaves and a flail, on top the windmill on wooden beams, on the left side a staircase leading to a door with the miller in front with a handling winch and some chickens. Dial: enamel, radial Roman numerals, pierced, gilt hands. Movm.: brass full plate movement, gilt, 2 barrels for going and striking train, keywind, 1 hammer / 1 bell, on reverse side applied train for constant drive of the windmill's airfoil by going train, 10-day duration
